I- STATEMENT
Nowadays, Human Rights play a constantly increasing role within national and international legal systems. Therefore, legal experts must now thoroughly study the subject and although Human Rights are not always explained nor applied in certain countries, one must consider their importance. This is why training is necessary through development of knowledge and detailed practice.

Learn how to draft various applications before the international Human Rights
institutions (European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, Human Rights

IV- CONTENTS
The training is designed to fit participant's expectations and requests. The courses are organised in a common-core syllabus (A) that can be completed by in-depth study units (B).
A- Common-core syllabus
General presentation.
The international and European Human Rights Institutions.
The international and European Human Rights Texts.
The procedures before the various international and European Human Rights
institutions.
European Human Rights Agreement Analysis.
B- Units
According to participants expectations, the following subjects can be studied: -Human Rights and family -Human Rights and freedom of speach
Human Rights and patrimony
Human Rights and Labour Law
Human Rights and minorities
Human Rights and penal procedures
Human Rights and the principle of non-discrimination.
V- METHOD
Training takes place as interactive seminars (focus on presentation and problem identification). Theoretical and practical cases will alternately be studied, focusing on an analysis of professional situations or cases based on participant and/or speaker's experience. To preserve interactivity, attendance is limited to approximately 15 persons.
VI- DURATION
Training is 3 to 4 days long, as follows: 2 days for the common-core syllabus, and 2 days for the study units. However, duration changes according to the participant's specific expectations.
VII- LANGUAGE
Courses are in French or English.
VIII- EDUCATIONAL COST
Training costs 1 550 Euro a day. Traveling expenses, hotels and meals are not included.

Professional situations analysis and practical cases study
Analysing professional situations and practical cases allows the course to focus on certain Human Rights and particular procedures of referral to a competent International Court.
The referral to a court of the Committee of Human Rights: delay, condition
of admissibility, decision of the committee.
The application before the European Social Charter Committee: authorized
applications, delay, procedure, admissibility, decision …
